THE MASTER MOVE BEGINS - PRECISION IN MOTION

Last week, MANA I arrived at our shipyard in Zoeterwoude, marking the beginning of a complex and carefully orchestrated maneuver we call “A Master Move.”

With two massive dry docks, each housing a new Mulder ThirtySix superyacht (Hull 8 and Hull 9), this week’s challenge is to reposition all three yachts to ensure the next stages of construction, service, and delivery run seamlessly.

The plan? Move Hull 9 out of Dock 2, then MANA I takes its place for her 5-year maintenance and service. Next, Hull 8 – will be relocated from Dock 1 to the quay, where she will remain until her official delivery in April. Finally, Hull 9 will move into Dock 1, where her construction will continue. A true display of precision, planning, and teamwork!

Executing such a move requires exceptional coordination and precise timing. Over the past days, our team has:

• Flooded both dry docks, allowing Hull 8 and Hull 9 to float for repositioning.
• Coordinated with local authorities, including bridge operators and maritime traffic control, to ensure smooth transitions.
• Worked with an expert towing team to carefully maneuver the yachts into their new positions.
• Assigned key personnel, ensuring that every step—from moving the dry dock doors to safely mooring the yachts—happens flawlessly.

It’s not just about moving yachts—it’s about ensuring their seamless journey toward completion, maintenance, and delivery.
