On Saturday 9 May 2026, the Mulder ThirtySix, Hull 9 departed our shipyard in Zoeterwoude-Rijndijk for an important next step in her journey towards delivery: her first passage to sea.
Following her official launch in March and her first appearance outside the dock earlier this week, Hull 9 spent the days leading up to departure alongside our quay in Zoeterwoude. There, against the backdrop of the Oude Rijn, her elegant lines and timeless profile naturally drew the attention of those passing by – a familiar response whenever a Mulder yacht reveals herself on the water.
The voyage marked the transition from shipyard precision to life on the water. A carefully planned route through the Dutch inland waterways ultimately brought her to Scheveningen, where sea trials on the North Sea will commence on Monday 11 May.
