On Wednesday 4 March, we proudly celebrated the official launch of the Mulder ThirtySix, Hull 9, at our shipyard in Zoeterwoude.
With Dock 1 as the setting, and in the presence of her owners, their representatives, and the Mulder builders who brought her to life. This special moment marked an important milestone in her journey towards delivery in Spring 2026.
Honouring maritime tradition, the yacht was formally christened during an intimate ceremony alongside the dock. The symbolic breaking of the champagne bottle against the hull marked a celebratory moment in her journey. A longstanding ritual wishing the vessel and those on board safe travels at sea.
Following the ceremony, the dock was gradually filled with water from the Oude Rijn. The wheel controlling the water flow was slowly opened, allowing the river water to enter the dock. A quiet moment that connects our modern craftsmanship to centuries of Dutch shipbuilding heritage.
