New Favorite 1500 hull arrives by truck

April 24, 2018

The hull of the Mulder Favorite 1500 arrived at Mulder Shipyard in Zoeterwoude, which means the finishing of this elegant, full-aluminium motor yacht of over 15 meter length has started. The interior is prefabricated at the in-house interior department of the yard during the hull construction and will soon be placed on board. Last week the hull and superstructure of the Mulder 94 Voyager already joined together.

This brings the number of yachts currently under construction at Mulder Shipyard to seven. This seventh Mulder Favorite will be delivered in May 2014 at the sustainable built Mulder facility, which is developed for efficient yachtbuilding. The classically lined Mulder Favorite 1500 was developed in close cooperation with Guido de Groot Design and Vripack Naval Architects.

Distinctive
The Mulder Favorite 1500 will be the seventh Favorite being built after the reintroduction of the Favorite series. Characteristic features of the modern classic include the nearly straight bow and the sloping transom stern. The semi-custom built yacht has a beautiful round-bilged hull and will reach a maximum speed of 25 knots with twin Volvo Penta D6 435 hp each. The Favorite 1500 is a distinctive yacht with recognizable retro lines, designed for the entire family. She has a functional lay-out with spacious cabins, a light saloon and a large open cockpit. Obviously the 1500 provides the highest level of luxury and comfort. The glass sliding door and electrically operating sliding window provide access to the spacious aft deck, where three comfortable couches and a folding table allow to enjoy the memorable moments with family and friends. Special detail of this all-rounder: there is a storage in the stern for a 3 meter tender. The Mulder Favorite 1500 serves as a perfect day-cruiser, but is also very suitable for longer voyages. The latest Mulder Favorite will have her berth in the north of Germany.
