Wheelhouse 73 “FLOAT” sold

April 24, 2018

M/Y “Float” has been sold. The distinguished appearance of the Mulder 73 Wheelhouse from 2007 has been sold to an Irish client.

Nick Mulder at Mulder Shipyard acted on behalf of the seller, with William Molloy from International Yacht Register introducing the buyer.

Float is a fully equipped gentleman’s yacht, including stabilizers, four spacious cabin and a tender storage. The twin Caterpillar C12 engines from 715 hp each are providing a top speed of no less than 22 knots. Four 15-inch displays in the wheelhouse offer control of all systems on board. These range from the hydraulic opening wheelhouse roof to the transom door, which opens to reveal to a jet driven tender. The interior is finished in white-wash teak combined with wengé details. The sustainable built yard of Mulder Shipyard in Zoeterwoude provides all facilities and disciplines to build yachts up to 45meters in a very efficient manner. In addition Mulder Shipyard provides the possibility for refit and brokerage. Last winter Mulder Shipyard worked on 26 yachts between 11 and 34 metres, including six custom new builds.

The all aluminium 73-footer undergoes various upgrades at this moment to deliver the yacht to her new owners before the summer.
